• Legal guarantee in Bulgaria: 2 years from deliveryThe seller is liable for a lack of conformity for 2 years from delivery. You do not need a warranty card.
• I lost the receipt. Is the guarantee still valid?Yes, if you can prove the purchase with an invoice or another payment record. The receipt is not the only proof.
• The receipt faded. What to doThermal paper fades before the 2-year guarantee ends. Photograph it while the text is still readable, and keep proof of payment.
• The legal guarantee and a commercial warranty are not the sameThe legal guarantee is 2 years from the shop, and you always have it. A commercial warranty is an extra promise and applies only on its written terms.
• How to file a claim in BulgariaYou submit it to the seller within 2 years of delivery. They enter it in a register and give you a number.
• Returning goods bought online: 14 daysFor a distance purchase in Bulgaria you can withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, with no reason. That is not a warranty claim.
• Selling on OLX. Does the guarantee transfer?The legal guarantee is against the shop and belongs to the person who bought from it. A commercial warranty transfers only if its terms allow that.
