Selling on OLX. Does the guarantee transfer?

The legal guarantee is against the shop and belongs to the person who bought the goods from it. A commercial warranty passes to the new owner only if its terms allow that, and you give them the receipt and the card.
A sale between private people
The sale-of-goods act covers contracts between a seller and a consumer (Articles 23 and 24). A sale between two private people on OLX is not that kind of contract, so the buyer does not automatically receive your legal guarantee against you.
If you sell regularly for profit, you may be treated as a trader. Say in the listing exactly what you are handing over.
What can pass to the buyer
A commercial warranty binds the person who gave it, on the written terms (Article 39(1)). Read the card: some cover any later holder who has the receipt, others only the first buyer. Hand over the receipt or invoice and the warranty card. Without them, a service centre has nothing to look at.
Second-hand goods from a shop
If you buy second-hand goods from a trader, not from a private person, the two years run against that trader. There is an exception for second-hand goods sold at a public auction: the rights under the act do not apply if the seller clearly told you so (Article 25(3)).
What to write in the listing
How long the commercial warranty lasts, which shop the goods came from, and that you are giving a copy of the receipt. That removes the argument after the handover.
